Safe and Sound Protocol
Regulate your entire family from the brain-stem up.
  • Are you running out of patience?
  • Is your nervous system fried?
  • Does your child struggle to regulate his emotions?
  • Does your child struggle in social situations?
  • Did your child come to you through adoption or foster care or have early childhood trauma?
  • Does your child take a long time to process what you say? Or struggle to communicate?
  • Does your child have noise sensitivity or other sensory processing struggles?
  • Does your family struggle with sleep?
Developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) employs a practical, bottom-up approach to help individuals regulate their nervous system more consistently and independently. Based on Dr. Porges’ Polyvagal Theory, by calming the physiological and emotional state, the door is opened for improved communication and more success with other therapy modalities.

What others are saying about SSP...

I used to get angry easily when I was anxious. After SSP, I am way less angry and irritable.
